Administrative Controls

Administrative controls are work practices and policies planned and implemented with the goal to reduce the risk of RCS dust exposure. Administrative controls define the way work is to be done, and includes (but is not limited to) standards and operating procedures concerning:

• Inspections & maintenance of engineering controls
• Housekeeping of the work area and equipment
• Hygiene of workers and PPE
• Instruction & training of workers
