Work Shift Scheduling is planning the work schedule to limit the amount of time an individual worker is exposed to a substance. This could be achieved through:

• Job-rotation schedules that limit the amount of time an individual worker is exposed to RCS dust.
• Work-rest schedules that limit the length of time a worker is exposed to RCS dust, particularly when performing a silica process in the heat.
